Ceremony

The Pastor will work with you to create your special service.  He will provide printed resources and there are many resources on the internet (google "wedding ceremonies").  If you prefer, the pastor will use a traditional service.  The wedding ceremony, and other logistical details, will be discussed at your first counseling session.

Sample Vows - Traditional Service  (two of many variations)

 

1.  I ____________ take you ____________, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health.  This is my solemn vow.

 

2.  _________, In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful husband in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow.  I promise to love you unconditionally, support you, honor and cherish you all the days of life.
