Ceremony
The wedding ceremony
A wedding is a service of worship, a celebration of the covenant between the couple and God. Many couples desire to write their own vows or create their own wedding service.
The Pastor will work with you to create
your special service. He will provide printed resources and there are many resources on the internet (google "wedding ceremonies"). If you prefer, the pastor will use a traditional service. The wedding ceremony, and other logistical details, will be discussed at your first counseling session.

1. I ____________ take you ____________, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health. This is my solemn vow.
2. _________, In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn

vow to be your faithful husband in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, support you, honor and cherish you all the days of life.

Making it Personal
We are not fond of "cookie cutter" wedding ceremonies.
If you work with the Pastor, your wedding ceremony will be both unique and personal
- a beautiful service of worship,
- a celebration of your love,
- and a beginning to your married life together..
Many other sample ceremonies are available, and you may create your own, in consultation with the pastor.
