Wedding Plannning
Recognizing the importance of Christian marriage, Community Christian Church is pleased to host weddings for members and non-members alike. As you plan your "special day" it is vital to remember that the wedding service is a worship service during which a couple makes a covenant with God and with one another.
Expectations:
- One of the pastors of Community Christian Church will preside at the wedding. Other pastors may share in the service.
- Couples will receive pre-marital counseling. Special arrangements will be made for couples living out of state or serving in the armed forces.
- The counseling will include 3 to 5 sessions, or a day long group session.
- A pre-marital inventory administered by Life Innovations, Inc. will be administered as part of the counseling program.
- The ceremony will be developed in consultation with the pastor.

Scheduling the Wedding Rehearsal

Sanctuary Decorations
The most convenient time for decorating the sanctuary is Friday before 4:30 PM or Saturday, as soon as the church is opened for the wedding party. Contact the wedding coordinator or pastor to make arrangements. The sanctuary is simple and elegant and does not require extensive decorations. Local florists will be able to guide you.
